Re: Cannot use Instruments at all with Xcode 9.4.1 Apple Staff (40 points) cwoolf Jun 15, 2018 5:08 PM (in response to dtapie) It sounds like the install is bad, or launch services is somehow confused. The code didn't change between 9.4 and 9.4.1 for Instruments.

I have installed OSX 10.13.4.

I currently have installed Xcode 9.2 (Version 9.2 (9C40b))

Software update shows that an update to 9.3 is available.

However, when I click the 'Update' button, either nothing happens, or the Updates screen turns blank.

If I try to update from the terminal, I get this:

MrMuscle:~ mnewman$ softwareupdate --list

Software Update Tool

Finding available software

No new software available.

I've tried quitting and restarting the App Store and restarting the machine, but nothing has worked.

Apple used to offer standalone update software for Xcode, but now the developer download site just redirects you to the App Store.
